A NEW MEDIA PARTNER IS REQUIRED

The current media partners of US Soccer are compromised. Unable to cover the sport, US Soccer, or MLS freely, the public is often left in the dark as to how things work and how things should work. The popularity of the sport is growing, but US Soccer and MLS are unable to keep pace. The opportunity for a FIFA-compliant project to succeed exists, but it needs a media partner that shares its values and is unafraid to tell the truth.

01. THE POPULARITY OF SOCCER IS GROWING

According to Gallup, nearly 23 million Americans consider soccer their favorite sport which is fourth behind American football. It is expected to become the third most popular sport within the next ten years.

02. THE USSF SYSTEM IS LIMITING GROWTH

MLS is underperforming by more than 300%. There is a large gap in the American soccer market worth more than $4 Billion annually for a better mousetrap. It is clear that US Soccer and MLS collusion is hurting American soccer.

03. US SOCCER IS NOT GOING TO HELP

Due to its relationship with Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing, US Soccer is not going to help any efforts that do not align with its shared vision with MLS. Forging a new path will require joining forces with compatriots.

04. NEW PROJECTS WILL NEED LEGITIMACY

Any new league, project, or effort that is launched outside the shared vision of US Soccer and MLS will need legitimacy in order for it to be sustainable and achieve success. It will need to be covered in a way that builds credibility.

The current media partners of US Soccer are compromised and can not be counted on to cover any efforts to build a better US Soccer system in a fair and balanced way. It is more likely there will be a media blackout and embargo from these outlets.
